Before we begin, let us have a moment of silence for the wallpaper collage.
From the outside looking in to the living room. That is a lot of dirt.
NW Corner
When we moved in, the west side of the ground floor was a home for the spiders, rats and the washer/drier. It is rumoured that where the washer and drier are located in this picture, there used to be a huge shower for Bill Barber's dirty boys to wash off after a dip in the pool.
The centre wall knocked out and all the makeshift concrete block walls are gone. In the background is Ramon R.I.P. sniff, sniff.
The exterior wall removed and the entire length of the house (30') is on props. Yikes! The blue tarp is a toilet wall, very private.
Walls and floor are in. Still waiting for wiring/lighting to be finished and doors to go in.
As it its, right now. We just a few finishing touches, like a lava lamp and 3 ducks flying in a row on the wall and the living room is done.
SW Corner
After the concrete block was taken out, check out the huge root running along the concrete. Who just stops pouring a foundation like this?? Really strange.
The whole house on props. The digging is a little over halfway done in this picture.
Needs a little somethin' somethin', but all in all it looks sharp. I just love the sandstone floor.
South Wall
Relaxing time. Oh yeah, and the dog LOVES it.
